Review and Reflection

Getting into university is already evidence that you have a range of skills necessary for academic success. The skills that have helped you to succeed academically have been developed through other experiences as well as previous studies, and can in the same way be applied in other new situations.

Your first personal tutorial is to help you begin a process of self-reflection - recognising what you can already do and thinking about what you may need to do to succeed, not only in your studies, but also in future employment.

Identifying Skills from Experience will enable you to think about some ordinary activities which you have done and to draw out from them the skills which you needed to use.
