These Personal Development Planning web pages are designed help you think about what and how you are learning, which will help you improve your performance and get better grades! Keeping a detailed record of your skills and achievements will make it easier to identify your strengths, and any areas where there are gaps. It will also help you really make the most of meetings with your personal academic tutor.

This personal log-book of your progress will also be really useful when sooner or later you start making applications for work placements, jobs or courses. The self-awareness and action planning exercises, together with prompts to make notes on your learning in and outside college, will make the value of your degree studies clearer and improve your confidence.

So, your chances of success on your course, and in the future, will be increased as you develop academic, personal and career-related skills!

You can either print your documents, or store them to disk or memory stick. However you manage your files, make sure you keep them safe to refer to when you leave university.
